Thread: If schools with enrollments (0-1000) were re-classified...how would people like this?

    If schools with enrollments (0-1000) were re-classified...how would people like this?

    Actually,... schools here are reclassified based on enrollments of up to 1150. This is my set up of what you would have if Group A and Group AA were divided into Group A, Group AA and Group AAA for basketball regions based on a certain enrollment limit.

    Group A Note - While every team in each region would have the capability to have a regional tournament with 8 teams, something would have to be worked out to accomodate Region B at this level.

    ARGS (Regional Governor's School)

    In Region B, you would need to shift over some of Region C and redistrict, or let Region B add the Pioneer District I believe it is. Then, some of Region D would be moved to Region D.

    IMO, if they would redraw the regions in the eastern part of the state, they could actually use the system we have now and still make it equitable enrollment wise.
    ...And if you ain't down with that, I got 2 words for ya....

    I agree. I think that if the VHSL went and expanded say from four regions to eight regions.. it would really help balance out everything. Even for classification purposes.
